ICT Manager
Six month contract initially, with potential
of extension or being made permanent

The General Teaching Council for Northern Ireland, the professional body for teachers, is seeking to recruit an ICT Manager for a 6 month contract initially, with the potential of extension or being made permanent.

Essential criterial:

  • A recognised IT qualification
  • At least 3 years experience working in an IT management or IT support capacity 

Main Purpose Of Job?
The ICT Manager will lead the development of the Council’s ICT systems. This will include drawing-up and implementing a strategy that meets the Councils ICT needs and takes forward projects and
initiatives to:

Assist in the specification, integration and procurement of the Council’s new database
and website; Scope, develop and embed a new registration database to include online
e-registration; Maintain the Council’s website and the day-to-day maintenance of the new
database; Review and oversee the support & maintenance of the Council’s hardware and
software systems and network.
