Stranmillis Student Teacher Awarded

The first Student Teacher Award to be presented by GTCNI to a Stranmillis student was presented today at the University College by the Principal, Professor Richard McMinn and Barney Ball, GTCNI.
The successful candidate, Sharon Armstrong gave a winning presentation to secure the prestigious £1000 Award which will go towards her continuing professional development as she embarks on her teaching career in Northern Italy.
Sharon commented "I am thrilled to have won this award and it will be most helpful in my further development. I am excited to be teaching in Italy and hope the experience will give me the edge when I apply for a post in Northern Ireland in the future".
