VSO to Hold Information Evening in Belfast
International development charity VSO are holding an Information Evening in Belfast at 7.30pm on Tuesday 22nd of May for professionals interested in volunteering. VSO has been sending volunteers to work overseas in Africa and Asia for almost 50 years.
Attendees of this informal information evening will have the opportunity to hear more about VSO's work internationally and the types of jobs currently on offer. Former VSO volunteers will be present also to give a first hand account of life in a developing country.
VSO volunteers live and work at the heart of local communities for a period of 1-2 years, helping to tackle poverty by developing the ability of institutions, organisations and individuals. Currently there is a strong demand for primary and secondary teachers with at least 2 years experience.
