Plans for the 11-plus examination are back in the spotlight.

Sinn Fein MLA, Michelle O`Neill, is to address a public meeting at St. Patrick`s High School Dungiven on Wednesday evening.

The Education committee member will outline the vision for transforming the current education system based on equality for all children.

Following a day of complaints from politicians, principals and parents on Tuesday, angry parents rounded on Sinn Fein`s education spokesperson John O`Dowd in Larne last night.

On Monday, Education Minister CaĆtriona Ruane told the executive that no-one was confused about her plans.

"People right across the north understand exactly what`s happening here.

There`s a small minority of people who are trying to block change. I`m moving forward with a range of proposals, broadening the curriculum, dealing with the 12,000 young people that we`re failing every year."
